Why do endoscopes have bending tube body failures?

The bending tube is a component that realizes the angle conversion function. During the use of the endoscope, the bending tube may deform. After deformation, the angle function is lost, the instrument path is blocked, and the endoscope cannot be used.

This situation is mostly caused by external forces, such as the endoscope storage cabinet or cleaning machine cover squeezing the flexible lens bending tube, causing bending. The metal braid and the curved tube frame inside the tube are deformed, resulting in missing angles or blocked instrument access.

After the bending tube body is deformed, remember not to continue using the soft lens and repair it immediately. Because external deformation is likely to cause the forceps tube to become narrower, if you continue to operate the instrument at this time, it is easy to damage the forceps tube, which will amplify the fault.

A third-party company can solve the deformation failure of the bent tube by replacing the bent frame.
